Our implementing partners **EYES** are now established in their new rented office in Makale with albeit basic facilities. Our 4WD vehicle is helping us with visiting students and projects. Not everything is peaceful in Ethiopia. Eritrea to the North causes concerns and there has been a certain amount of civil unrest, This has often been harshly repressed, although faults lie on all sides. During any form of unrest, a certain amount of opportunist looting and settling of old scores goes on. Sadly this has sometimes disrupted education for some of our students, although worse has been fuelling some internal ethnic discontent. Few of our students are either politically or ethnically aligned in any way and just want to continue their studies in peace. \\ Not everything is peaceful in Ethiopia.
